A. Try searching this site for the software to do what you want. or Youll need to be able to ftp the packets into place and likely need hosting that supports both PHP and MYSQL. Most are free and fully functioning stand alone PHP scripts if you want to link them you might need to read up some at Best of luck.

Complex question about domain ownership and hosting for my novel?
Q. My main character needs to run a website, but is worried that he could be in danger from the government and others. He finds a shady character willing to front his website for a fee...so Mr. Shady pays for the website hosting service and is the technical owner, but he doesn't actually operate the website and does not have the username or password from the web hosting provider (which is the same company the domain name was purchased through). Someone else wants to buy the domain name and website from Mr. Shady. Would they be able to gain access to the website from the web hosting company if they do not have the username and password? (They would not know the email address attached to the account either) Also, if it were a US agency wanting… [cont.]

A. movie Untraceable. If you don t have to use a credit card, and you can just connect at a wi-fi hotspot without a user name and password that can be traced, and then post using proxie sites, it would theoretically be possible. Youcan determine the name and address of a domain owner in about 30 seconds with the right tools. You can find the hosting site in probably less time. Ass to getting access, all you need are a user name and password, and those can be reset at the hosting site. As to the last part of the question - you have not been paying attention to the Bush adminstration I guess - they do warrantless spying all the time and the telecom companies roll over like little lapdogs to help them.

any advice on a internet cafe style website?
Q. recently I have registered several web domains and would like to make one of them into a website where people can log on every day. Web site would target the local population (around 1.5 mill). There are several websites with the same idea already up and running but they are not advertising at all, no one even knows about the sites they have. I would like to create something big but my lack of knowledge in business and lack of money are (I fill like) stopping me from doing that. I know I am shutting my self in the foot by being negative, but can any one offer me some advice as to how to go forward with my idea? A. find some cheap place online (cafe press, etc) that will print stickers, or even use a color printer at work to print flyers. put it on everyone's cars in your target area (nightclubs, cafes, supermarkets, wherever...) the stickers give them to a friend or friends sibling in highschool. those will get out quick. kids love to stick stickers on their notebooks, lockers, backpacks, vandalism, etc...try multiple highschools in the area, and have all the kids advertise on thier myspace/faceboo k for you. it's the network you need.

Help with Operations Management Homework!?
Q. Robert Gates rounds the corner of the street corner when he sees his wife prunes roses in their front yard. He slowly pulls his car into the driveway, turns off the engine, and falls into his wife s open arms. How was your day? she asks. Great! The drugstore business could not be better! Robert replies, Except for the traffic coming home from work! That traffic can drive a sane man crazy! I am tense right now. I think I will go inside and make myself a relaxing martini. Robert enters the house and walks directly into the kitchen. He sees the mail on the kitchen counter and begins flipping through the various bills and advertisement until he comes across the new issue of Operations Management Today. He prepares his drink, grabs the magazine, [cont.]

A. Use Ultimate Web Builder - It is very user-friendly. You can stylize your own website through the Admin Panel and it will convert it to the CSS coding for you - much better than choosing a ready-made template. No experience necessary and it comes with free tech support if you need any help. It comes with a ton of features, including SEO (search engine optimization) tool, mailing list application, e-commerce/Pay P al shopping cart, coupon codes management, photo gallery/slidesh ow management, CMS (content management system), blog, and more. You can buy the domain name (www.yourwebsit e.com) and web hosting from there too and get free installation of the software/update s.

1 & 1 - Signed up and paid for a 1 year contract - now they're chasing for payment past 12 months?
Q. in december 2007 i paid up-front for a domain name for 12 months; it shows this on my invoice. obviously this ended december 2008. i received a letter the other day from a debt collection agency. my card has changed since i signed up, so they were unable to take payment to extend it. i do not wish to extend it; i haven't used the site for half a year... can anyone advise me what to do next? i called 1&1, who said the domain contract runs until i stop it - despite the 12 month contract stated on my invoice. they advised me to cancel the account, then EMAIL the complaints dept (no phone number!...) i'm concerned about 'cancelling' the domain account, as this might convey some admitted responsibility on my part. Any suggestions??

I want to start up a small course (classroom based) in London. Teaching people how to setup a basic website?
Q. The course will focus on using Word Press as a CMS. Users will be guided through registering a domain name, registering with a hosting provider that supports Fantastico (a script installer, to make Word Press installation really straightforward ) and finally how to install and run a Word Press website. I'm unemployed , living in London and have no idea where to start or who to approach for premises, advice etc.. I'd need somewhere fully kitted out with ready to go pc's and a network (with internet access) connection for each workstation, plus an overhead projector connected to a tutors pc. I've taught lessons before, when I used to be a lecturer of IT in Bromley. But have since lost touch with my old contacts and really only want to… [cont.]

A. You could try www.network.uk. net for funding to start with plus why not try offering your service as a home studies service first. that way you get to build up your student list & reputation before throwing yourself in at the deep end with premises which are very costly.

Anybody want to tell me what you think of the start of my story?
Q. If someone steals this, I will be aware. I warn you. Be easy on me, okay? I'm only 13. She was bottle-blond with a bit of black fringe, thin as a twig, paper white, and wore huge sunglasses. She thought she was cool - following with the fads, obsessing over imaginary vampires, and holding the Jonas Brothers and Britney Spears close to her heart - and perhaps thinking of Britney as a role model. When a famous celebrity wore pigtails, she did. She wore miniskirts and golden hoop earrings. She carried a green python handbag - Gucci. A. It's shaping up to be a really interesting story, i think, but the first answerer is completely correct, it is in need of some editing. The paragraph describing the doe and the squirrel and whatever is way too detailed for this story. Considering that it has no effect or immediate effect on the plot line at this point in the story, all the descriptions are unnecessary. Save that imagery for poetry. As the previous answerer also pointed out, the thing about the mother and Wednesday is also unclear. The part when Jessica is talking to her mind is a little immature with the "shut up- no you shut up" etc. It's the only part of this story that I saw as unprofessional. Consider toning that down. Consider editing when she's… [cont.]

Where lies the right path for Health Care in America?
Q. Being, myself, a health care professional, I find it odd that so many people disagree with the way health care is being mapped out by President Obama. I'm not a huge fan of him right now but I must admit we are stumbling, sort of speak, in the right direction. Also signing on with certain drug companies to prescribe only name brand/designer drugs. Then there's pre-existing conditions situation. For-profit companies run our current health care system. A. You might be able to achieve what you want to do with one single blog. What you do is categorize each post. Posts can be displayed according to their category. Almost every blogging platform, including free hosts, give you this tagging/categor izing ability. If you want something professional looking though you should definitely get a domain if you don't already have one. But go ahead and try a few free hosts out first to get an idea of how everything works. Also, many blog hosts and platforms allow you to create static pages (instead of "posts"). My host is today.com
