How long should I study? What is the correct way to study?
Q. I'm currently studying Arabic language, my teacher said I have to study at least 1 hour per day at home. But its not enough, so I usually study in my room for 4 hours or so. But sometimes I get bored. My friend said study for 40 minutes then rest for a while then continue to study for another 40 minutes. Maybe there is another way to study? So I don't get bored easily? And much more effective?

A. I think the best way to study without being bored is to relax yourself. For example, before you start to study, you have to clear up your mind and think only about happy things and concentrate on the book. Make sure you're far from any distractions. Sometimes you do get bored no matter what. In that case, you just have to leave your desk a little while and walk around your room or your house or looking out of the windows so that your brain absorb new pictures. But don't take this too long. I see you're studying Arabic, then I'd say the best way is to practice, as they always say, 'Practice makes perfect.' You should watch Arabic news on TV or listen to the Arabic radio. You can also practice your Arabic with your classmates! Best lucks!

How do I study if I get easily distracted?
Q. I have a really big test tomorrow, and I get easily distracted. I want to study a lot tonight, but the subject isn't interesting at all. Now whenever I read over my notes or recite them aloud, I get distracted. I start humming, or I just zone out completely. I need to get a good mark, but I don't know how to study without losing concentration. Can anyone give me your study tips?

A. study outside, if there is a forest near you, go there, it always helps me.
